On January 30th took place a round table on Additive Manufacturing for industry 4.0 with the participation of companies ranging from automotive and aerospace to packaging, universities and incubators: AVIO Aero, Brembo, EOS, HP Italy, IMA, Leonardo Helicopters, Moi composites, Porsche Consulting, PRES-X, Prima Additive, Sisma, Solvay Specialty Polymers, Stratasys, Streparava, T3Ddy, Fraunhofer / ACAM, Politecnico di Milano, University of Pavia.
Additive Manufacturing is the theme of the first event “Smart Production: Additive Manufacturing as enabling technology for Industry 4.0”. This round table was organized in collaboration with the MADE Competence Center and supported by Formnext, under the patronage of AFIL, Lombardia Mobilità Cluster, DIH Lombardia, Istituto Numen.
In the discussion framework of additive manufacturing, as integral part of production solutions and processes transversal to multiple sectors, Prof. Ferdinando Auricchio has presented the 3D4MED and 3DMetal@UniPV projects.
