- Process development (Qualification of new materials, Multi-material processes, Influences of process gas)
- Process observation (Thermography, High-Speed recording, Analyzation of the back-scattered electrons (EBM))
- Simulation (Structure Simulation, Process Simulation, Material flow simulation)
- Competences for research and industry cooperation
