Services
The room is equipped with 25 workstations.
The services available are:
- Internet
- access to online databases and local network, CD-ROMs and DVD
- software for document creation, for the development of spreadsheets, databases and presentations
- software for image processing
- e-learning and video conferencing
- color printing and b/n, reproduction in digital color and b/n, download on CD-ROM, flash drive (to be provided by the user)
- video/listening media VHS, CD-ROMs and DVD (2 posts)
- bibliographic advice and services assistance
4 of the stations described are accessible to visually impaired and blind people and are equipped with:
- Braille display (Braille bar) - A device that plays in Braille what appears on the screen
- Magnification software - Allows the magnification of the image on the computer monitor and can be integrated with voice synthesis
The room can be also used as a classroom (for reservations, send request to bu-pv.mediateca@beniculturali.it).
