Learning outcomes
The purpose of the course is to provide an in-depth study of the notions on the institutional, politic, social and cultural history of the Ancient Near Eastern regions in the pre-classical period.

2nd part ('Modulo' B):
1. Aspects of society, religion and culture. The cuneiform script
2. The Gilgamesh Epic (text tradition, content , interpretation and recent studies)
