Learning outcomes
The purpose of this course is to introduce basic concepts of Romance linguistics and to provide a good knowledge of the history of the Romance languages (their origin, their evolution and typology, their geographic distribution). This course will moreover provide informations on methods and tools of the linguistics research.
Course contents
The Origin of the Romance Languages.

The course will explain some fundamental questions about the origin and the development of the Romance Languages, their common aspects and their differentiation.
