Learning outcomes
The course introduces the most important theoretical issues of modern and contemporary philosophy, through the study of selected texts and bibliography.
Course contents
Title: Hume and free will
The course will be an introduction to the view sustained by one of the most important philosopher of the eighteen century, David Hume, about the issues of necessity and free will. This view will be examined in light of the contemporary debate on freedom of will and responsibility.
