Awareness of the e-book movement; hands-on training in the use of digital resources.
Course contents
Reading e-books.
Institutional repositories, open access and research.
Digital libraries: definitions, functions, services and sites.
Digital curation.
Teaching methods
Lessons will range from a lecture, to a demonstration, to a discussion and may involve work by the students either independently or in collaboration with others.
