Learning outcomes
The pediatric orthopedic course is aimed at the specialist diagnosis of the pathologies of the evolutionary age, whose treatment often requires the intervention of the orthopedic technician in collaboration with the rehabilitator. For the particular age range it is important that the technician knows to approach the patient and the family with delicacy and discretion as well as with competence. The student must demonstrate the knowledge and ability to understand medical conditions, the construction and application of appropriate orthosis and auxiliary equipment, and the subsequent rehabilitation phase aimed at achieving the optimal state of patient functionality and well-being
