Joseph Frank
(Rastadt, 1771 - Como, 1842)
Medical, he replaced his father Gian Pietro in Pavia professorship in 1785, for a short time as a result of the French occupation, he had to return to Austria Vienna.
He returned to Italy in 1826, he settled in Laglio, on Lake Como, where he died in 1842, devoting to the Library by will, in addition to their books, a substantial legacy for the purchase of books and periodicals of medicine.
