Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the foundations for the knowledge of the planning and implementation phases of the individual architectural features of the building structure and interrelationships that are established between them once set in place.
Course contents
The course aims to make students to address and solve technological problems that underlie the architectural design of a building. The course deals with the structural elements that make up the building structure and their aggregation aimed at the definition of the building; construction techniques and materials are addressed according both to traditional and innovative solutions.
Teaching methods
The course consists of lectures and exercises
Lessons, focused on the above topics make extensive use of critical analysis of examples made.
Exercises aims to draft a project of a building complex including the definition of some buildings details.
