Prerequisites
Mathematics, including differential and integral calculus and vector algebra.
Learning outcomes
The topics of the course are explained and discussed in a way that aims at stimulating students on physics problems.
Course contents
The course deals with electromagnetism: constant E and B fields, Faraday’s law, Maxwell equation and their implication in terms of electromagnetic waves.
Teaching methods
Frontal teaching and optional seminars.

Assessment methods
The exam consists in an oral test in which the knowledge on electromagnetism are verified, together with the capability of the students to approach reality in a scientific way.
