2. the study of the processes of industrial chemistry involved in the production of fuels, sulphur and nitrogen compound.
Course contents
1. Chemical plants: tanks for liquids and gases, transfer pumps for liquids and gases, the production and the management of heat in chemical plants, reactors, separation techniques: evaporation, drying, distillation.
2. Oil industry: characteristics of the oil - desalination - topping - chemical processes on light fractions: polymerization, alkylation, isomerization - Chemical processes on mediam fractions: isomerization, reforming - Chemical processes on the heavy fractions: thermal cracking and catalytic cracking, hydrocracking - Chemical processes of refining : hydrodesulfurization, desulfurization Doctor.
3. Industry of sulfur: production of S8, SO2, H2SO4.
4. Production of N2, O2, Ar.
5. Industry of nitrogen: synthesis of ammonia and nitric acid.
