Prerequisites
Students are required to pass the exame of Arabic 1 Advanced course.
Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the linguistic tools necessary to understand and translate texts about politics in Arabic language and to look independently for the desired informations on the major Arabic networks.
Course contents
In this module, students will deepen the political language, and in particular on the subjects of demonstrations, elections, conflicts and terrorism. They will also follow news in Arabic on the major Arab websites.
Teaching methods
Lectures with the help of telematic tools and group interaction activities.

Assessment methods
The final exam consists of written and oral tests. The written exam will be a written comprehension (without dictionary) on the subjects treated during the lessons.The oral exam will consist in reading and translated the texts of the lessons and in a conversation with the mother tongue teacher.
Further information
A constant frequency of lessons is required, included the supplementary teaching classes with the mother tongue teacher (prof. Hafez Haidar).
