Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide tools and methods to read and to understand demographic and social phenomena and to introduce the source of data to describe the same phenomena.
Course contents
The official statistical sources, the structural characteristics of the population and the components of changes in the population (mortality fertility and migration), the survey in social research, the questionnaire, methods of data collection, sampling designs.
