Prerequisites
This course is intended for MA students who have gained no fewer than 6 ETCS in History of Modern Philosophy or in History of Contemporary Philosophy.
Learning outcomes
This course aims at providing the essential skills to a profound and detailed analysis of the main issues concerning philosophical historiography, and particularly of those dealing with methodology.
Course contents
Antonio Gramsci from Marxism to Philosophy of Praxis
This a seminar course with compulsory attendance. It will focus on examining the relationship between Gramsci and the marxist tradition, which he translates as philosophy of praxis
Teaching methods
Lectures and discussion of the papers submitted by the students.
