Prerequisites
No previous knowledge of Japanese laguage is required.
Learning outcomes
At the end of first term students will reach beginner level (A1.1) Japanese language skills, according to the CEFR.
Course contents
Hiragana, Katakana and about 40 Kanji will be studied. Vocabulary, grammar and sentence patterns related to different topics will be introduced (Myself and my family, Food, Home, Daily Life).

Assessment methods
Achievement test will be both written and oral. Students who fail to pass written exam will not be admitted to the oral examination.
Further information
Lessons are taught in Italian and Japanese. Students are required to attend classes regularly and take part in group activities with the Japanese Language Instructor.
