The course is integrated by a cycle of practical Spanish language lessons with annual duration, held by native speakers.
The exercise cycle program involves the study of nominal morphology and regular and irregular verbal (indicative, imperative, conjunctive present and imperfect), with basic notions of syntax .
The written and oral test examinations regarding practical exercises are preliminary to the official exam. These preliminary exams include: dictation, grammar exercises, translation, editing. The use of the dictionary is not allowed. Students attending at least 70% of the tutorials (Addestramento) can undergo partial tests forseen throughout the year, according to the information provided by the native speaker CEL; the attainment of both partial trials exonerates from the final global test, which students can still attend with the intention of improving their mark, but renouncing to the previously obtained evaluation. The spoken spanish level will be verified in a few minutes of conversation that will precede the exam, on actuality issues, and the novels Nada by Carmen Laforet and Entre visillos by Carmen Martín Gaite (compulsory reading).
After passing these practical tests, students will be allowed to access the official course of Spanish Language I, which lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes.
For procedural and linguistic clarifications, students can contact the official teacher for the course, prof. Enrico Lodi.
