Learning outcomes
The course deepens the theory of economics integration and the major European economic policies. The evolutio and effects of internal processes of transformation (ex the internal market) are deepened. Special attention is reserved to the external commercial relation of the Eu.
Course contents
Protetctionism theory and tariffs effects. The theory of economic integration. Custom Unions and Free Trade Areas effects. Custom Unions and public goods. Non tariffs barriers. Common markets theory. Empirical effects of economics integration: the single market. The principal European policies: the financial perspectives, CAP, industrial and competiton policies, the cohesion policy, the structural funds. The Eu external relation: the commercial policy, the cooperation policy, the relation with ACP countries. The Eu in the international commercial rounds.
