Prerequisites
Only students who passed the exam of Chinese Language I (Advanced Level) / Chinese Language 3 are admitted to take the exam of Chinese 2 (Advanced Level) Language
Learning outcomes
At the end of the second module the student will reach a intermediate language proficiency B2 (QCER), equivalent to HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) level 4.
Course contents
The course aims at providing an intermediate/advanced language proficiency. More specifically, it focuses on the study of grammatical structures through the analysis and translation of texts on current issues related to Chinese culture and contemporary society. Furthermore, listening and conversation skills will be enhanced.

Assessment methods
The exam will test grammar knowledge, comprehension (both reading and listening) and speaking skills.
Further information
The course is divided into two compulsory modules, Advanced Chinese I (second semester) and Advanced Chinese II (first semester) - nine credits each. Students are suggested to attend classes regularly.
