Basic knowledge of elementary mathematical tools, derivatives and integrals.

The course intends to provide the necessary cultural foundations for understanding the fundamental principles of thermodynamics and energy analysis of systems and the basics of heat exchange for conduction, convection and irradiation in order to apply them, during the exercises, to building services components and energy systems. At the end of the course the student will be able to set up the analysis of thermal systems and will have acquired a set of notions that allow him to analyse the energy analysis of a building.
