Learning outcomes
The course is aimed at students of LM, philological curriculum
Through the analysis and the comment of the texts, recurring and characterising
features of greek dramatic production will be made apparent
Course contents
Institutions of Ancient Dramaturgy + analysis the plays in the original language.
Lectures on Institutions of Ancient Dramaturgy, with a focus on the theme “the warrior and the politician". Lectures will originate from the analysis of the following works
in the original language:
-Sophocles, Philoctetes
-Aristophanes, Equites
