Prerequisites
Three years of Spanish, or equivalent; 5 CFU of Romance Philology.
Learning outcomes
The course, according to the previous knowledges of students' first degree, aims to deep their active and passive competence in Spanish, improving it both for professional and academic purposes, especially on a philological ground.
Course contents
Lengua española y crítica textual
Spanish language and textual criticsm, through some dramatic study cases of different ages and tipology.
The course will have a seminar course; are an integral part of the teaching of the course the 40 hours of the Winter School on "Filologia d'autore e letteratura ispanica" to be held between January and February 2015.
The course is integrated by language practices of Spanish, which are held the 3rd and the 4th terms along. For any information about their language learning, contacting prof. Mazzocchi is highly recommended in any moment of the year.

Miguel Ángel Pérez Priego, La edición de textos, Madrid, Síntesis, 2011, segunda edición (the first ed. may not be used).

Students who can’t follow the lectures, must get in touch with the teacher as soon as possible.
Assessment methods
Overcoming the verification tests written and oral provided for the practical work is preparatory examination.

Written
The written test includes:
- translation into Spanish of a passage from Promessi Sposi (dictionary allowed)
- an essay about a literary subject (dictionary forbidden).

The level of spoken Spanish will be checked in a few minutes of conversation on topical issues and cultural factors that precede the exam.

Examination (course):
written, the examination will support in Spanish.
