The first part of the course is an introduction that deals with the main features of the Italian constitutional system and its institutional design. The second part of the course is devoted to the National service of civil protection: organization, activities and tolls to inform and communicate. In this part the students learn civil protection is not a task assigned to a sole administration, but is a function belonging to a complex system. This system must inform and communicate in time of peace or in the event of major natural, technological and radiological disasters to ensure better protection of people, the environment, property and cultural heritage in emergency situations. Finally, the last part of the course is devoted to civil protection and social media.
