Course contents
This course is an introduction to the physics, circuit use and design of optoelectronic devices, including those for the generation of light (namely lasers and LEDs) and those for the detection of light signals, (notably photodetectors). Lessons are backed by experimental workshops. Objective of the course is to allow the student understand, design and use photoemitters and photodetectors
