Course contents
Phenomenology and philosophy of mind.

This year's course is dedicated to investigate points of convergence and problematic aspects of the contemporary debate between phenomenology and philosophy of mind. Many have argued that a meeting between these two philosophical traditions is necessary, but some problems remain unsolved. The course therefore intends to investigate the conditions of a common position and the difficulties encountered in trying a synthesis of perspectives which come from different, and sometimes irreconcilable, ontological foundations.
