Prerequisites
Learning outcomes
To uderstand and analize critically the ethical and legal problems of traditional and new mass-media
Course contents
The course is devoted to the ethical and deontological problems of professional communication.
In particular, the lectures will examine, through case-studies, the following areas: the deontology of journalism; the deontology of advertising; the deontology of entertainment.
A special section of the course, taught by prof. F. Sanna, will be devoted to the new media.
Teaching methods
The lectures will concern both general matters and the analysis of singular relevant cases. These lectures will be integrated with the participation of some top professional of communication.

Assessment methods
Students can choose between written and oral examination. Both forms of examination consist of questions concerning the most important matters of the discipline
