Prerequisites
A previous study of Japanese language (minimun 40 hours) is required.
Students are expected to attend class regularly.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this term student will reach the A2.1 communicative language competences.
Can understand and use familiar everyday expression and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
Course contents
About 45 kanji will be introduced. Vocabulary, grammar and sentence patterns related to different topics (free-time activities, hobbies, towns and transport, shopping, experience in the past)will be studied.

Assessment methods
Achievement test will be both written and oral. Students who fail to pass written exam will not be admitted to the oral examination.
Further information
Lessons are taught in Italian and Japanese. Students are required to attend classes regularly and participate at language activities with the Japanese Language Instructor.
