Prerequisites
A previous study of Japanese language (minimun 80 hours) is required.
Students are expected to attend class regularly.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this term student will achieve the communicative language competences of the A2.2 level according to Japanese Foundation Standard for Japanese Language Education.
He/she can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance. Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
Course contents
Kanji, vocabulary, grammar and sentence patterns related to different topics (my family, my hobby, my favourite season, where to go/my favourite places, meeting a friend, languages and culture of other countries ) will be studied.

Assessment methods
Achievement test will be both written and oral. Students who fail to pass written exam will not be admitted to the oral examination.
Further information
Lessons are taught in Italian and Japanese. Students are required to attend classes regularly and take part in group activities with the Japanese Language Instructor.
