Learning outcomes
The course introduces the students to the main politological theories on political change and regime transitions.
Course contents
The proliferation of "hybrid regimes", specially in the afro-asian areas, reproduces in new forms some of the traditional topics of political thinking, such as the relationship between freedom and order, individuals and group (or community), state and society.
