Sir Anthony Panizzi and the library of the British Museum.
Course contents
Sir Anthony Panizzi from Brescello, exile, scholar, librarian.
The reorganisation of the library of the British Museum as a prototype of the modern national library.
The role of national libraries in the digital era.
Teaching methods
Lessons will range from a lecture to a discussion and may involve work by the students either independently or in collaboration with others.
