Prerequisites
Knowledge of the history of Italian art of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, with particular reference to northern Italy and influence of the flemish and french art.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge of production of art and architecture in Lombardy during the first Sforza, with particular regard to the city of Milan.
Course contents
The course will examine the major works of architecture and decorative promoted by Francesco Sforza and Bianca Maria Visconti, Galeazzo Maria Sforza in the years of their rule, with particular regard to the city of Milan.
