Prerequisites
Knowledge of the basic elements of metrics already acquired during the three-year degree.
Learning outcomes
The course aims to familiarize the student with the most important metric forms and the main rhetorical used in Italian lyric, from the thirteenth to the twentieth century.

Teaching methods
Lectures.
Attendance is strongly recommended, even if you ensure maximum understanding for absences due to business reasons or otherwise documented (in these cases it will be possible to agree on the way).

The annotated bibliography will be provided during class.
Assessment methods
Written and oral exam. The exam is divided into three steps: written on a topic of metric or stylistic, preferably relevant to the subject of the course; knowledge of the main Italian metrical forms; knowledge of the content of the lesson
