Prerequisites
The student must have passed the exam of Arabic 1 of the first degree.
Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the linguistic skills necessary to read, understand and translate simple sentences and to ask for information in Arabic.
Course contents
In this module, students will study all the tenses of the first verbal form. They are expected to be able to read, translate and simulate simple dialogues, on the basis of the proposed models.
Teaching methods
Lectures with the help of tutorial CDs and DVDs.

Assessment methods
The exame consists in written and oral tests.

The course is divided into two compulsory modules: Arabic 1 (first semester) and Arabic 2 (second half), 6 credits for each module; a third module, Arabic 3 (the first semester of the following year), 6 credits, is optional.
