CIVIL ENGINEERING FOR MITIGATION OF RISK FROM NATURAL HAZARDS
Hydrogeological risk assessment and mitigation
Primo Semestre (21/09/2020 - 14/10/2020)
51 ore di attività frontale
Having passed the exam of Hydraulics
The main objective of the course is to introduce students to the basic theories and methods of urban water systems, that is water supply and sewer systems in the framework of Agenda 2030 - Objectives 6 and 7. The course will be made up of three parts. The first will provide the students with the main notions related to the design and analysis of water distribution systems. The second will be dedicated to the design and analysis of sewer systems. In the third part, the risk and vulnerability in Urban Water Systems will be dealt with.
