Learning outcomes
The course introduces the most important theoretical issues of modern and contemporary philosophy, through the study of selected texts and bibliography.
Course contents
Course Title: Hume, passions and morals.
The course will be an introduction to the view sustained by one of the most important philosopher of the eighteen century, David Hume, about the role of passion and reason in the motivation of actions and about the problem of uniformities or differences in human moral evaluations.
