Students must have previously attended Classical philology - a and passed the oral text.
Learning outcomes
The course aims at making students familiar with the method and the tools of textual criticism concerning Greek and Latin texts.
Course contents
History of philological studies in Rome from the ancient age to late antiquity (depth of a few significant figures and reading and commenting on texts)
Some models of critical edition of Latin text from different ages.
