Knowledge of the Italian Art from the fourteenth century to the sixteenth one. Knowledge of the Italian Literature from the fourteenth century to the sixteenthone . Students are advised to study the suggested subjects only after passing the Modern History of Art examination.

Knowledge of the most meaning-ful literature sources of the Modern Art History, having great care at the artist's biography and autobiography in the modern age.

The course will consider the main works of the Italian Art Literature and Theory from the fourteenth century to the eiugteenth one, having great care to the artist's biography and autobiography during the modern age. (Vasari, Cellini, Bellori)

Lectures during which the literary and historiographical texts will be read and commented in relation to works of art.
