Learning outcomes
This is an advanced course: the aim is not to improve grammar knowledge; They will be gave the necessary skills to understanding the abstract and the body of scientific paper.
Course contents
In the first part of the course we will work on text reading and comprehension strategies in order to search for keywords within scientific papers.
The second part of the course includes analysis of abstract.They will provide general notions about the abstract, its use and writing.
It will also work on the organization techniques and on the formulation of standard sentences.
