Prerequisites
Knowledge of French language is required to attend the course. Students must have passed both the written and the oral exams of French language to take the exam
Learning outcomes
The course aims to analyse and practise syntactic rules of B1/B2 level .The language used will range from an everyday to a formal register and cover various lexical areas to allow students to improve their written and spoken language
Course contents
Based on the analysis of various types of text, the course aims to examine main and subordinate clauses and the use of verb tenses.
Concerning the CEL additional activity, which completes the course, you should check the general programme of French Language and Literature 2015-2016, with the information about the teaching materials, which you must absolutely have by the beginning of the activity
Teaching methods
Interactive lectures. To attend lessons, students need a photocopy of the handout (prepared by Ms Tentoni) which is available in the CLU bookshop, corso Carlo Alberto. All students must have a photocopy of the handout, whether they attend lectures or not.
On the day of oral, non-attending students are expected to perform all the exercises in the handout and bring it a long with exercises done

Assessment methods
The written exam consists of a test of reading comprehension and a personal piece of writing based on the texte. The oral consists of a discussion on the topics and exercises covered during the course
