A general overview of Portuguese culture in its links with European and worldwide ones.

The contents of lectures must be integrated with the reading of:
1) M. Newitt, Portugal na História da Europa e do Mundo, Lisboa, Texto, 2012;
2) A. Lobo Antunes, Os Cus de Judas.

24 hours of lectures by intensive teaching (visting professor programm) from February 1st to February 5th; 12 hours of lectures in third term (once a week).
