Course contents
Introduction to Erich Auerbach. The course will concern some chapters of Mimesis, the essay Figura in Studi su Dante, the introduction to Lingua letteraria e pubblico nella tarda antichità latina e nel Medioevo, Romanticismo e realismo e altri saggi su Dante, Vico e l'Illuminismo, La corte e la città.
