LIBRICI IVANA XENIA (titolare) - 9 ECTS

Knowledge of the Portuguese language according to the programme developed during the three previous trimesters

Knowledge and competences of the specificity of the Portuguese phonetic. Theorical elements about the relationship between phonetic signs and written code according to historical development and geographical expansion.

The course will illustrate two different aspects of Portoguese Language. The first part will illustrate Portoguese phonetic, deepening the connection between oral language and written code. The second part of the course will deepen the relation between language and power in some multilanguage geographical areas. Students who do not attend lessons are advised to meet the teacher.

Oral exam in Italian for students of the first year and in Portuguese for students of the second and the third year.
The course is complemented by a series of Portuguese language practical exercises during the whole year, differentiated according to the level and taught by native speakers.
For any requirement with regard to the language learning students can contact the teacher in charge of the course.
Passing the written and oral verification tests related with the practical exercises is a prerequisite. The written test includes: dictation, grammar exercises, translation, composition. The use of a dictionary is not allowed in any part of the verification. The level of spoken Portuguese will be tested in a few minutes of conversation that will precede the exam.
