Learning outcomes
The class is designed to familiarize students with the conceptual frameworks and terminology of educational scientific debate with specific reference to physical education and sports.
Course contents
Prof. Monica Ferrari (3 CFU):
"Education for democracy and the educational values of sport: the role of educational practitioners and experts trainers".

During the course teacher and students will discuss about crucial questions for contemporary democracies, which highlight the role of physical education experts in an analysis of the values and culture of active and responsible participation in increasing quality of life for everyone.

Prof. Matteo Morandi (2 CFU):
"Sport scientists: effective educators?"

Starting from a diachronic examination of the gymnastics and physical education programs for the Italian school in the last 150 years, during the course will be presented, in particular, tools and methods of self-analysis, in teaching practice, for the physical educators and sports.
