This course aims to provide a detailed knowledge of the neurobiology of memory. After the course, participants will be expected to be able to:
1) Describe and differentiate the various types of memory and the supporting brain regions.
2) Read, understand, and critically analyze research papers of neuroimaging and neurostimulation techniques as well as of neurological patients’ investigations unraveling the neural bases of memory.
3) Describe the brain pathologies associated with memory impairments, detecting their main clinical features.
4) Develop a critical knowledge of the neuropsychological tests assessing memory deficits
