Learning outcomes
The course aims to deepen the technical and practical knowledge on models and processes of functional assessment, using standardised psychodiagnostic procedures and measurements in specific skill areas, with both qualitative and quantitative techniques. Particular attention will be paid to situations following trauma, surgery, and chronic and degenerative diseases.

Qualitative and quantitative assessment and instruments

The first psychological interview as a tool for psychodiagnostic assessment.

Principles of psychological testing

Criteria of validity and reliability of a test

Definition and assessment of medication adherence.

Assessment of anxiety and depression.

Personality assessment.

The CBA 2.0 battery.

The Minnesota Multiphasic Inventory (MMPI).

The assessment of the patient's resources.

Healthcare professionals' assessment.

Generic and specific assessment tools in health psychology.
Teaching methods
Frontal lectures and practical exercises according to the number of students attending the course.
