Learning outcomes
The student must acquire knowledge about some reproductive events that may represent, considering the qualifying objectives of the master's degree, fields for research ideas and clues for management and organisational issues from a management point of view.
Anesthesiology: understand and know the fundamentals of the use of ultrasound for nurses, the different types of venous access, the recent updates of BLS,BLS-D,ACLS, not invasive ventilation, extracorporeal assistance and postoperative pain management.
Course contents
Fertility control.
Menopause and related problems
Infertility issues.
Medical sexology.
Anesthesiology: use of ultrasound for nurses (peripheral venous access, assistance in the positioning of central venous accesses, verification of the urinary globe and the correct positioning of the bladder catheter, verification of the correct positioning of the SNG, Assistance to the IOT)
Venous accesses: types of accesses (CVP, CVC,PICC, Midline), types of devices, indications,use and complications, management and medication.
• Refresh of BLS,BLS-D,ACLS
• Not-invasive ventilation: indications, types of devices, patient management
• Out-of body assistance: types (ECMO VV,VA,VAV ECCO2R,IABP dialysis), indications, patient monitoring and management.
• Management of postoperative pain: definition, types of devices and indication/management analgesic drugs (indications, controindications, side effects).
