The objective of the Occupational Medicine module is to present, in a concise and effective form for learning purposes, both a general overview of the scientific, ethical and regulatory aspects of health and safety at work, and in-depth analysis on specific topics of particular interest and relevance for the protection of workers' health.

General information on workplace hygiene. Occupational hygiene and medicine. Background.
Risk and risk factors.

General information on chemical risk factors; principles of toxicology
General information on biological risk factors.
Damage from work: accidents at work and occupational diseases
Preventive strategies

Occupational risks in healthcare facilities
