The class aims to give students an introduction to Italian private law (as "law in books" and as "law in action").

Introduction. Sources of law. Human and non-human legal entities. Personality rights (with special attention to privacy law). Property law: ownership and possession. Law of obligations. Contracts: formation, fundamental and accidental elements; contractual effects; remedies. Non-contractual liability.
No: family law; law of succession.

An oral exam with a specific focus on giving students an introduction to Italian private law in the most recent legislative and judicial perspectives
