Basic knowledge in the usage of the PC and the internet browser
Learning outcomes
Being able to se the resources offered by the University of Pavia to carry out bibliographic searches.
Being able to use the office package (example: excel, powerpoint) and other statistical software (esample: jamovi) to set up a dataset, analyse data and prepare a powerpoint presentation.
Course contents
The course aims to offer to the students the knowledge of resources, tools for bibliographic research for scientific materials and for data analysis. The student, in particular, will learn how to set up a spreadsheet for data analysis and to perform descriptive analysis, correlations, Chi-square and Student's t-test.

Assessment methods
The exam consisting of a written test based on multiple choice questions.
