Learning outcomes
Learn the basics of the main cardiovascular diseases, with particular reference to aspects that may affect human nutrition.

1. Main signs and symptoms of cardiovascular diseases
2. Ischemic heart disease
3. Heart failure
4. Cardiac arrhythmias
5. Inflammatory heart diseases (myocarditis, pericarditis, endocarditis)
6. Valvular diseases
